Pisces Time 2008

February 20th – March 21st

We think of Pisces as peaceful waters and maybe that is the needed backdrop for these eventful times. Forces of change meet brick walls of resistance and yet still…the tearing down of the old continues as firm inroads for change and reconstruction are paved. As the Sun moves into Pisces on the 19th it makes a powerfully creative sextile to Pluto, collaborating to oppose the status quo (The Sun in Pisces opposite Saturn in Virgo) in favor of something that really works.

On March 7th Mars opposes Pluto suggesting that the intensity barometer rises to explosive levels – also on the 7th the Sun conjoins radical Uranus, providing the shake up necessary to effect successful, even surprising revolution of ideas for social organization. 

Unfortunately, to make things right it is often necessary to sort out what is wrong. This month the Sun, Mercury, and Venus will oppose Saturn and we will not be at a loss for people speaking their minds about what is WRONG.

The interplay between Mars, Saturn, and Pluto holds some very positive possibilities for growth. Infusing of new energy and ideas into foundations is not easy but actually more supported than we realize from our own standpoints and discomforts.

Come out of denial and accept the signs that are obvious. Things are not going back to the way they used to be. Instead, grab hold of the new ways available – even if it requires a learning curve for you.

Pisces is opposite Virgo – the sign Saturn sits in now – and Pisces will show by mirroring- the correction message Saturn is giving. The second half of this Pisces period is the time to be actively implementing new methods.
