Old Dreams Die Hard
Living in a bubble of Illusion
We become aware
It is what it is
It is that
What lies uphold it ?
Keep it floating?
What truth surronds it?
We all know
The first day of Spring (Vernal Equinox) arrives this year in an array of stellar intensity. The equinox is on Tuesday, yet before that, on Sunday, we have a New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse, and then, on Monday, Pluto squares this New Moon. Having an eclipse and an equinox with a square to Pluto is like putting a spot light on a powder keg.
As the Sun is being eclipsed by the Moon, Pluto squares them both from our point of view. Change is inevitable. Then, as the Sun's path crosses the equator, our days start to become longer than our nights, and new light is radiated. This is the beginning of the astrological year, the beginning of Aries. Traditionally, the chart for the entry of the Sun into Aries is considered of great importance for the future year.
This year's chart holds some great dynamics. The challenging need for transformation in the face of formidable forces of resistance may break forth in rude awakening. Of great significance is the fact that both the New Moon Solar Eclipse and the square to Pluto occur at the last degree of Pisces, considered a 'critical degree' in the Zodiac, a pivotal point of endings and beginnings. The symbology for this is degree is,
"Light breaking into many colors as it passes through a prism" (Elsie Wheeler)
"Scientist is making tests by means of spectrum-analysis." (Marc Edmond Jones)
Both of these clairvoyantly received symbols of this degree suggest the division of light into many colors of separation. Behind this illusion, is the unity of the one light.
Because within the Equinox chart we also have Mars and Neptune in opposition to Saturn, I feel the current ongoing saga of truth/lies, hope/despair, and growth/loss reaches a critical point of revelation. It is time in our own personal lives to ask what is real to us. It is also time to understand what has changed in our circumstances, and make appropriate adjustments based on the real situation, and cease with any denials. Don't wait for agreement from others; our collective awareness has been caught up is some fog. Find your own clarity.
Great events may occur and may even involve space, or the earth itself. And although the planetary aspects that are given great magnification at this time are very challenging, there are some mitigating influences as well. Jupiter is sitting at 19 degrees of Sagittarius, in a trine to Saturn, and in sextile to Mars and Neptune. Practical solutions are available! By the time of the Equinox the Moon moves into a trine to Pluto. Creativity to the rescue! And Uranus is conjunct the North Node of the Moon in Pisces; we may actually vision a new path of humanity enlightened by love and unity.
In our personal lives the path is also one of allowing the love and unity. Breaking down of the barriers of ego (and its agendas) can allow the separations to dissolve, and quickly make life simpler and easier.
